Why does it say "could not create multiclip"?
In order to create a multiclip, the component clips must all have the same frame rate, dimensions and codec. This is a requirement of Final Cut Pro. Also, all clips must have a video track as well as audio. This is a limitation of the interface to Final Cut Pro.
I get an error message. What does it mean?
